The design was considered significant enough that the Victoria and Albert Museum in London now holds a Mitticool refrigerator in its permanent design collection.
The lesson here matters as much as the Apple example, if not more. Prajapati didn’t have a research and development budget or an engineering degree. What he had was a willingness to look at a familiar material, clay, and ask an unfamiliar question: could it solve a modern problem in a way factories hadn’t considered? That is thinking outside the box in its purest form.
