What is the price earnings (P/E) ratio?

At first glance, Company X might appear to be the best value. At first glance, TechCorp A appears cheaper. However, calculating the PEG ratios provides additional insight:

  • TechCorp A PEG: 22 ÷ 15 = 1.47
  • TechCorp B PEG: 35 ÷ 25 = 1.40
